DMC HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENT

Even with the pandemic's conflicts, we were able to host a successful conference entirely online from March 18th to March 19th. Our judges were from a diverse range of backgrounds—legal to economic to educational fields—and ages—with one having over a decade of experience. The tournament was fast-paced and gave our high schoolers the competitive and empowering edge to have a future in Moot Court.

Our case brief revolved around the 1st and 4th amendments and featured Andrew Ashford as our petitioner against Sunnyside State University and the State of Sunnyside as our respondent. To read our case brief (an original and unreproducible property of DMC), click here!

We hosted over 200 students and 25 high schools from across the United States (including California, Texas, New York, Florida, and more). The winning team of the Spring 2022 tournament was Gabriela Eastwood and Loughran Cabe (Team 51). Congratulations to all of our competitors!
